How to have an arty wedding...

Here are a few ideas to help you to have an arty wedding…

1) Cedars Yard for your ‘guestbook’

‘Cedars Yard invites you and your guests to join artist Emma to help paint a canvas for your home.

This fun and creative activity is a real conversational piece as guests watch each other work and admire the artwork as it progresses. You don't need to think you're artistic as tape will guide you to paint in a section and an opportunity to sign the back means well wishes will be easily passed on.

Prior to your event Emma will have a consultation meeting with you, where you’ll discuss size, colours and style. This works best with a large canvas but if that doesn't suit your home we can work on a few smaller canvases which make great gifts to those special to you. Meaning you'll have a lasting beautiful memory of your day.

Prices start from £385 (introductory price)’

2. Rubbish Portraits by Lucie Sheridan - for fun entertainment and great keepsakes

‘Lucie Sheridan is the artist and founder of Rubbish Portraits which is a Live Art installation for hire. Her portable and unique Rubbish Portrait Booth can travel and be erected at any event or gathering. Your very own limited edition signed portrait is painted by Lucie in ink while you’re seated and should be just the tonic to add something extra special to your occasion. If you have an event in mind please contact Lucie’

3. Sam T made it - for your wedding favours

‘We design and supply personalised enamel pin badges set on a backing card and presented to your guests as a wedding favour. Present them at your wedding breakfast as part of your table setting.

The pin doesn't necessarily have to be a portrait of you but instead it can be something that represents you as a couple; a pet, an inanimate object such as a flower or a piece of artwork that you both love… ANYTHING!'
